On behalf of the Committee members it is my pleasure to invite all of the great scientists, academicians, young researchers, business delegates, students and everyone who is interested in Science from all over the world to attend the 6th Annual International Conference on Eco-Sustainable Construction Materials (ICESCM 2023) to be held in the famous City of Paris, France during the period April 20-21, 2023.
The ICESCM 2023 shares an insight into the state-of-the-art research and cutting edge technologies. It gains immense interest with exuberant presence of young and brilliant researchers, experts, adepts and business delegates. ICESCM 2023 will highlight advances in all major disciplines of Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Mining, Metallurgy, Mineralogy, Manufacturing Technology, Functional, Smart Materials, Eco-Sustainable Construction Materials and Emergent Applications. Rapid development of modern technology needs the support of new material. New material together with information and energy are known as the three pillars of modern science and technology. The birth of new materials will lead rapid development of related industries and technologies. The overall goal of the conference is to bring together scientists from multi-disciplinary groups all over the world in order to exchange break-through ideas in modern science. The meeting promotes top-level research, thus making discussions and presentations more internationally competitive and focusing on recent outstanding achievements in the field as well as on future trends and needs in these fields.
Global production of material will have been achieved 180 billion tonnes in 2050, if the consumption of material trends proceeds that way. As a consequence of the popularity of all materials in use, the manufacturing of material is responsible for almost 60% of global CO2 emissions. Reducing this carbon footprint is a key aim of the material industry and of researchers worldwide, leading to the development of a number of ‘technologies’ a long with the Pros and Cons. Many solutions have been proposed, nevertheless; none of them did not enough to transform the globe into a liveable habitat. For instance, researches replaced common cement with conventional supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) such as the pulverized fuel ash, ground-granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume, rice husk ash or calcined clays, to make usable innovative binder. However, there is still considerable research needed to demonstrate, with confidence, that the materials offer comparable lifetime performance and durability for humanity. Furthermore, there is a need for more nuanced environmental assessment than just embodied carbon per unit mass. And also, the improved sustainability can be achieved by use of locally sourced materials or by developing more efficient, durable materials.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be accompanied by your family to this wonderful place of Paris.
See you soon!
